What Counts as Same-Day Delivery?

At most reputable Hyderabad bakeries, same-day means the order is placed and delivered on the same calendar day. The realistic order window is typically:

• Order by 11 AM — Same-day delivery is virtually guaranteed for standard cakes
• Order between 11 AM - 3 PM — Same-day delivery likely, depending on the area
• Order after 3 PM — Same-day delivery possible only in certain areas with limited cake options
• Order after 6 PM — Almost impossible. Same cake will be delivered first thing next morning

What Cakes Are Available for Same-Day?

Same-day delivery is limited to ready-stock cakes — those baked daily and available for immediate dispatch. At Krispie's, these include:

• Red Velvet (limited stock)
• Selected donuts and pastries

Custom cakes, fondant cakes, theme cakes, and multi-tier wedding cakes cannot be made same-day. These need 24-72 hours notice.

Ready-stock cakes are freshly baked each morning for same-day delivery.

Express 1-Hour Delivery

For ultra-urgent orders, we offer 1-hour delivery within 5 km radius of each outlet for an additional surcharge. This works for ready-stock cakes only — you choose from our display via WhatsApp photos and confirm. Available between 10 AM and 8 PM.

Pricing for Same-Day Delivery

• Standard same-day delivery (3-4 hours window): ₹49 - ₹150 depending on distance
• Express 1-hour delivery: ₹150 - ₹350
• Sunday and public holiday surcharge: +₹50
• Late evening (after 7 PM) surcharge: +₹50

How to Ensure Freshness on Same-Day

• Choose a delivery time within 4-5 hours of the eating time
• Refrigerate immediately upon receipt
• Take the cake out of the fridge 20 minutes before serving
• For cream cakes in summer, avoid placing in direct sunlight or near air conditioning vents

What to Do If Something Goes Wrong

Even with the best planning, delivery issues happen. If your cake arrives damaged or late:

1. Take photos immediately
2. Call our store directly (not the delivery agent)
3. We will assess and either replace, refund partially, or refund fully depending on the situation
